Why It Matters

What Dirty Panels
Cost You

$360
Annual loss at 20% dirt

A typical 6kW Santa Fe system at 20% efficiency loss wastes around $30/month — $360 per year. Cleaning costs a fraction of that.

15–30%
Efficiency drop from dust

Desert dust, pollen, bird droppings, and mineral deposits from hard water block sunlight from reaching your cells. The drop is measurable and significant.

7,000ft
Santa Fe's elevation

Higher altitude means more intense UV and faster degradation of buildup on glass. Santa Fe panels accumulate dust faster than lower-elevation systems.

How We Do It

Our Cleaning
Process

01

Safety Inspection

Before we touch anything, we inspect every panel for cracks, loose connections, or damage. If we see anything concerning, we flag it — we won't clean panels that might be compromised.

02

Dry Brush

We remove loose dust and bird droppings with a soft-bristle brush before applying any water. This prevents scratching and removes the majority of surface debris in seconds.

03

Pure Water Wash

We use deionized water — zero dissolved minerals — fed through our extension poles directly to the panel surface. Pure water dissolves mineral deposits and evaporates completely clean, leaving no spots or residue.

04

Spot Treatment

For stubborn hard water staining or bird dropping residue, we apply a targeted treatment. Santa Fe's calcium-heavy water often requires this for panels that haven't been cleaned in over a year.

05

Final Inspection

We check every panel before we leave. You'll see the difference immediately — cleaner glass, better light transmission, and a measurable improvement in your next electricity bill.

🏠 No one walks on your roof. Ever.

We clean entirely from the ground using water-fed extension poles up to 3 stories tall. Your roof tiles, your warranty, and your safety are all protected.

Your Cleaning
Pays for Itself

Most Santa Fe homeowners with solar see their panels lose 15–25% efficiency within 3–4 months of the last clean. At New Mexico's solar production rates, that loss adds up fast.

A single cleaning restores that output. The cleaning pays for itself in 2–3 months. After that, you're ahead — every month.

How often should I clean my solar panels in Santa Fe?
We recommend 3–4 times per year: spring (post-pollen), early summer (pre-monsoon), fall (post-monsoon), and a winter check if you've had significant buildup. At minimum, twice a year makes a meaningful difference in annual output.
Can you clean panels that have hard water deposits from sprinklers?
Yes. This is one of the most common issues we see in Santa Fe. Our pure water system dissolves mineral deposits without scratching the panel glass. For severe calcium buildup, we use a targeted mineral treatment. We always inspect before quoting to give you an honest expectation.
Can you bundle solar cleaning with window cleaning?
Yes — and most of our customers do exactly that. Same visit, one crew, bundled pricing. It's more efficient for us and saves you money. Ask about our window + solar bundle when you call.
What areas do you serve for solar panel cleaning?
All of Santa Fe County — Eldorado, Tesuque, Las Campanas, Monte Sereno, Arroyo Chamisa, Tierra Contenta, La Cienega, Pojoaque, and all surrounding communities.
